Previous Employment or Professional References: An in-depth interview, with approximately 20 questions.
Employment Verifications: Confirms the dates that a candidate worked at a company, the candidate's position, basic job performance and inquires whether the previous employer would rehire that person. This service works well when an in-depth interview is not required.
Educational Verification: Confirm the applicant's degree, major field of study and date of graduation.
County Criminal Background Check: This will provide information on any felony convictions in the last seven years and is conducted on a county-by-county basis.
Federal Criminal Background Check: This will provide you with information on any Federal felony convictions in the last seven years and is conducted on a county-by-county basis.
Department of Motor Vehicles - Driving Record Report: Checks the current status of the candidate's license (valid, suspended, etc.), and obtains the date and type of any convictions that may be listed on the license.
Criminal Records CheckPoint: Utilized to broaden the scope of a background check by searching public records of various court and law enforcement agencies across the United States. This service is offered as an accessory to the County Criminal Background Check. Credit Check: Provides a summary of account standings, as well as information about any collections, liens, judgments or bankruptcies related to the candidate. Social Security Check: This service is available through a major credit agency. They will verify up to four different identities that may share the same Social Security number and address information for that number. They will also confirm whether that Social Security number has been issued by the Social Security Administration, if it was issued in the last five years, or if it was issued to someone that has been reported as deceased.
Department of Corrections: Rules and availability of information vary by state. Many states offer public access to their records of individuals who have been, or are currently, incarcerated in a state facility due to the level of severity of the conviction.
Sex Offender's Registry:Rules and availability vary by state. This is a search of a state's public registry containing information of individuals that have committed certain sex offenses that require their inclusion in this database. We work directly with the Criminal Justice Department in New York state, allowing the avility to search all three levels of individuals required to register who may be on parole, probation or imprisoned for certain sex offenses.
National Sex Offender's Registry: Rules and availability vary by state. A compilation of states put together by the Department of Justice to allow for a one-stop search of all participating states' public sex offender registries.
